초등과 중등 임용고시는 교직 논술을 위해 ‘교육학’ 이론부터 배웁니다. 그런데 왜 유치원 임용고시는 ‘이론’부터 시작하지 않을까요? 2016학년도까지 총 20점 중 ‘논술의 체계’가 10점, ‘논술의 내용’이 10점으로 배점되었습니다. 그런데 2017학년도부터는 총 20점 중 ‘논술의 체계’가 5점, ‘논술의 내용’이 15점으로 배점됩니다. ‘논술의 체계’보다는 ‘논술의 내용’, 즉 논술의 틀보다는 ‘이론’을 더 중시하겠다는 것을 뜻합니다. 그런데 우리는 왜 아직도 ‘이론’보다 ‘논술의 체계’를 더 중시할까요? “논술의 틀은 알겠는데, 본론이 문제에요. 본론에 무엇을 써야하는지는 모르겠어요.”라는 어느 선생님의 물음에, “본론에 대한 답은 정해져 있답니다. 그리고 그 답은 ‘유아교육’ 이론입니다.”라고 답한 적이 있습니다. 유치원 교직 논술의 출제 범위는 ‘교육학’에서 ‘유아교육학’으로 바뀌었습니다. 그 중에서 유아교사론이 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고, 유아교육개론과 누리과정에서도 출제됩니다.

2019학년도에는 교직 논술이 당락을 좌우했습니다. 교육과정 80점 만점에 70점 이상을 받았음에도 논술 점수 때문에...... 교육과정 80점 만점에 60점 대를 받았음에도 논술 점수 덕분에......

당락을 좌우하는 유치원 교직 논술, 그 기본으로 돌아가고자 합니다. 단순히 논술의 틀이 아닌, 이론에 근거한, ‘논술의 내용’에 근거한 논술의 틀을 잡아가고자 합니다. ‘참’의 노력이, ‘참’의 결과를 만들어 갑니다.
